Sorry... me again!
This is a card I have made for Mo's Digital 'It's a Color' Challenge. This week her 'Design Team Member', Elaine, challenges us to make a card using only Red, Yellow, Orange and Neutrals (i.e. Black, White, Off-White). So I made a card using just those colours on a white base card.
I, of course, used one of Mo's Digital images and coloured him in orange PJ's with red stars and a red dressing gown. The box of tissues is yellow as is his hair. The sentiment is from Create with TLC 'When nothing goes right...go left' which is perfect for when you're not feeling very well and nothing seems to go well. I added some DP from My Mind's Eye 'Bright Dots' paper stack. and some orange and yellow flowers.
The base card is 6" x 6" and was a recent purchase from HERE. They supply excellent quality card stock (among other things) at VERY reasonable prices. Pop on over and take a look for yourself.
Hope Mo and her DT like it?
Thanks for visiting me today.

The Love Boat
Here's another card that I have finally got around to editing.
This card was made using my new Country Companions set that I got for Christmas and this one has the loveboat included. What a sweet image, course... this would never happen where I live, unless the River Colne broke it banks, the only way I would manage to get Steve in a boat is if his other option was drowning!!! Nevertheless, it's a cute image and I really enjoyed colouring it in. Another thing I love about these Country Companions clear stamps is that they stamp so well. Although... HINT: with the little text images (as you can see in the ladybugs message card on the bottle) you don't have to use quite so much pressure and it's best to stamp a few testers before stamping it into the text box, to get the pressure right.
I coloured the image in with my ProMarkers and then added some glitter STICKLES over the top of the water. I added a charm and a sentiment to finish. The background DP is from the My Minds Eye 'Bright Dots' Collection.
Hope you like it.

Good Luck Lianne
Hi girlsHere's another card that I have been doing today. I am entering it into the Sketch Saturday Challenge and here is the sketch they gave us this week to work with.
I decided to make a card for my daughter, Lianne. Although she is only is Year 9, she has been asked to do a Btec exam in Physical Education (which is the equivalent of TWO GCSEs) and next May she will also be doing her Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) exams early. I am really proud of her as she has been working very hard on her coursework and I hope this card will wish her well and good luck. But, because she will be doing these exams in Year 9, there is no real pressure, because if she doesn't do as well as her teachers are expecting her to, she can resit them in Year 10 if she wants to aim for a higher grade. If, however, she does as well as her teachers expect, she can keep the grade and then that takes some pressure off for when she does her other GCSEs in Year 10. Win, Win situation...
The image was coloured with ProMarkers: Sky Blue, Demin Blue, Cardinal Red, Ivory, Blush, Cocoa, Cinnamon, Sandstone and Ice Grey 1.
I mounted some co-ordinating ribbon onto the blue cardstock I used before and then printed a greeting on the printer using Cool Dog font from www.dafont.com.
All done. Hope you like it?

Merry and BRIGHT!!!
Morning, sorry it's been a while since my last post. I have been busy making my cards and although I started them, I didn't quite get around to finishing them. Or at the very least, photographing them. So here I am...
I decided it was time to use one of my new Lili of the Valley Christmas stamps, as I have been looking at it a while and haven't stamped with it. I didn't want to go with the traditional green and red or white and black Christmas card and eventually decided on red and yellow... strange??? Yeah, I know but I think it actually works. I think it looks a bit like a flattened christmas cracker??? Let me know what YOU think?
Don't you just love this bear??? I coloured him with ProMarkers: Cocoa, Cinnamon and Sandstone (and then went over it with a brown sharpened pencil to pick out areas of his fur), Cardinal Red, Berry Red and Yellow. I then picked out the star and the tinsel with Moon Dust Stickles and a white highlighter pen (Sakura Gelly Roll).
I then added some non-traditional background paper from My Minds Eye (Bright Dots Stack), some red and yellow cardstock which I border punched with the Martha Stewart Stars punch, added some ribbon and a shiny red button.
Thanks for stopping by.

RoRo's Birthday
I made this card for my Auntiy Rosanne, as it is her birthday on the 25th September.
She wouldn't let me make her a card last year as my grandmother died just before her birthday and, understandably, she didn't feel much like celebrating, which I can accept totally as not only was my nanna her mother, but she was also her best friend and dependent (miss you nanna, love you lots).
Anyway, because of the circumstances last year that prevented me from making her a card, I thought I would make an extra special one this year. I hope she likes it. It's rather larger than the cards I normally make but I made the image quite a bit larger and added so many embellishments.
I coloured the image with ProMarkers; Ivory, Blush, Cinnamon, Henna, Cocoa, Demin Blue, Indigo Blue, Blossom and Rose. I then added the lettering which I cut on my Big Shot. Added some different papers, some ribbon, some flowers and some swirly bits (using Marianne Creatables and also cut on the Big Shot).
Hope you like what I have created today?
Thanks for stopping by.

Burlesque Beauty
Here's one of my Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, I just love these stamps. I used the Pretty Please Spring Papers from My Minds Eye, which were a freebie with a craft magazine. The mini rhinestones were purchased on Ebay and the ribbon was recycled from an old cardigan.
The colours used on this occasion were Promarkers Ivory, Blush, Cocoa, Blossom and Maroon.
I mounted the image onto cerise mirri card and also mounted the sentiment onto the same before cutting around the image so that it left a thin border.
I then added some mini coloured gemstones to each of the flowers.
