This lovely monkey stamp is from http://www.whippersnapperdesigns.com/ isn't he gorgeous!!! As you can see, I have decoupaged the image three times so that he is 3D and looks like he's hanging on the branch. Coloured with blendable pencils and a vert feint blue has been watercoloured in the background. The stick-on words were a gift from Adopted Step-Mummy Julie (thanks 'mum') which were originally white but I coloured with permanent pen, in black.

Missing You...

Another Penny Black favourite. This one was made for a friend who knocked on my front door one Saturday morning, having forgotten to buy a last minute birthday. She's always forgetting birthday's, but shhhh...I didn't say that!!! Anyway, I managed to make this one for her in about 10 minutes, after making it one way and then changing my mind and doing it another way. Anyway, this was the end result! She liked it, so I was happy xxx

GCSE Luck

This card was a request from a work collegue for her son Jamie. She didn't like the High Street cards and wanted a personalised card that would wish him good luck in his GCSE's. She liked it so much that the lady she works with has also requested a similar card for her daughter who's about to sit her SAT's. Good luck to both Jamie and Emily in the next few weeks, I know it's a horrible time and I'm sure you'll both give it your best efforts.

Cheeeeeeky...

I love this Penny Black Cat sooooo much. It's called 'Caught Nappin'!' I kept it really simple and co-ordinated the colours with the background papers, the ribbon and the flower. Really simple, but I love it because it's so effective.

For an old Friend

I made this card for a friend's mum who is still grieving for her son. She loves flowers and pinks and lilacs and therefore I thought this Penny Black stamp would be perfect coloured and blended with blendable pencils. The background paper is a favourite of mine that I purchased at Ally Pally but unfortunately I cannot remember who makes it. Hope she liked it?

Bella Card

Apologies to those who don't like Bella but I wanted to show you how this card worked. I got the idea from Simply Cards and Papercraft Magazine the lilac 'flap' at the front folds into a strip that has been cut from the front of the card, you can see it better in the previous photograph added. I just thought it was a really eyecatching idea (and something different). I added a plain white insert inside so a greeting could be added from me to Gizelle.

Thinking of You

This is a Diorama card, apologies if I didn't spell it correctly. I learnt this technique when myself and Sarn went to one of Caz's card classes. The stamps are both Penny Black and very 'spring' like so I thought it would cheer my friend up who's feeling a bit under the weather. The flowers as before, PaperMania. The little dragonfly stamp printed on the front and side is by Elzybells.

Bundle of Joy

Here's another card I made over the past couple of days for a friend who's just had a baby boy. Penny Black stamp 'In a Nutshell' coloured in pencil and glitter added to flower. Celebrate tag as before and ribbon purchased from HobbyCraft. Clear adhesive bubble letters from PaperMania. Background paper by Flair Designs Inc.

Doggy Pile

A Whipper Snapper stamp. Aren't they cute???
I purchased this stamp at Alexander Palace with Sarn and have used it almost to death ever since. I love it so much. It's perfect for so many different occasions. I love colouring in this stamp too, this one wasn't watercoloured but looks equally as good when water is added. The background paper is from www.basicgrey.com and looks fab as a background for this image. Embellishment as before, a recent purchase from HobbyCraft

Buttons Galore

A Bella stamp. Some I know dislike her, but I love this card. The papers in the background came as freebies with Simply Cards and Papercraft. Flowers as before. With Love tag from Card Art Papercrafts, which were purchased from John Lewis. Ribbon was threaded through an old cardigan, which was salvaged when cardi shrank in the wash and promptly thrown in the bin. Lovely bright colourful way to wish Gizelle a Happy Birthday on 9th April.

Just Chicken...

Love this image too. As you can see I have been having fun in my absence. This is another Penny Black stamp called 'Party Perch' (another great Margaret Sherry creation. Mounted stamped image onto brown cardstock. Background paper is Provocraft and the ribbon was a recent purchase from HobbyCraft. Embellishments also from Hobbycraft.

Just Piggin' Around

This Penny Black gem is called 'Pinky Joy'. He's so cute. I just love colouring him in. There are so many different ways to do it and so many different outcomes as a result. I added glitter to the blue flowers, but left it mainly just coloured in. Blue penned border around the white edge and background paper was created by myself using various flower stamps, mainly from BananaFrog and Woodware. Ribbon was a recent purchase from HobbyCraft.

Busy...Busy...Busy

Hi guys, sorry I haven't been around for a while but I've been wrapped up so many various other things lately I just haven't had five minutes even to turn the computer on. Anyway, enough of that, here's two examples of the same stamp on thin DL card stock, coloured in slightly different ways, both watercolour pencils, but on one I used water on the other I didn't.
