Flower Girl

This card was made with Bella as the star attraction with some shoe embellishments that I recycled from one of my recent birthday cards, which I thought went perfectly with the colours and the design of the card. The background paper (from www.urbanlilly.com.au) was mounted onto white cardstock and a ribbon was added to finish. Coloured in watercolours and blendable pencils.

i honestly don't know how i managed without the blendable pencils before. I used to just keep going over and over with slightly more pressure until i got the desired effect but because these pencils have two shades of the same colour, the hard work is done for you. It's so simple and yet so less time consuming. I love them and would recommend them to all crafters.

I just looked in WHS for blendable Crayola pencils and there were NONE although they do stock Crayola everything else! Hurrumph. Obviously I NEED them now you've told me about them (as if I haven't got any other pencils!)

Sarn, WHS do sell them but I think I bought them either in Woolworths or Rymans. Will have a look for them next time I'm in town and if I can get you some I will bring them to GP with me in June xxx
