Fallin' Leaves

Right girls, my next card has been created using one of Mo's (Digital Pencil Too) freebies from Paper Craft Planet. You have to be a member of her group on PCP to get them and she only leaves them as freebies for 24 hours so you have to be lucky. Usually, I am not so lucky, but I happened to see her post on Facebook and grabbed my chance with both hands (and ten fingers too) and grabbed it before the allotted time was up. Phew!

I'm not a big fan of cats (except wild cats, if I could own a panther or a leopard I would jump at the chance but I would rather see them in the wild personally), but this cats face is very appealing. He's very cute and I love the whole fallin' leaves thing too (Autumn is my favourite season). The digi stamp actually only came with the leaf on his nose so I doctored it slightly in paint.net and copied the leaf and made it all different sizes and placed them all around him so that it looked like he was having fun at the base of a tree that was shedding it's leaves. I can remember Steve raking all the leaves up one year from the back garden and he had a huge pile and Lewis, who was probably about four, ran out the back door and jumped straight into the middle of the pile squealing with laughter!!! Bless him. Anyway, I'm waffling again.

Thanks for stopping by.

Listen to his Words...

Hi everyone, a late entry tonight as I have been working hard on this for most of the evening and I am pleased to say that I have finally finished...

I have made this card for Bronte and Bella's Challenge Blog (Mo's Digital Pencil).  This is my first time of entering one of their challenges as the cards that are entered are always so fabulous that mine fade in comparison but I have really worked hard on this one and therefore feel it is worthy of sharing on Mo's blog.  The rules are that you use only Mo's images and this week the additional rule was to make an EASEL card. So here it is.

I hope you all like it, this was one of Mo's freebie images and I just love it.  The sentiment is from TLC (link on my favourite blogs) and it says 'if you wish to know the mind of a man, listen to his words'.  I also thought that as this month we would be celebrating Father's Day, I would make this card for my lovely daddy who deserves so much more than I could ever give him, but I always hope that a handmade card, straight from the heart, will at least show him, just a little bit, how much he means to me and how much I appreciate him for everything he does for me. Love you daddy xxx

Thanks for dropping by and viewing my blog. I hope you enjoyed your visit and that you will come back again soon.

Night Night and hugs, Fae xxx

Bronte and Louis

This is a freebie from Mo. Lewis, my son, loved this image and said that Bronte reminded him of our Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Ali. So I made the card to look like a younger Lewis with his mate Ali. She's always hovering around him when HE'S eating cookies or biscuits too. Coloured in the image with my ProMarkers again and added some letters to spell out 'Ali and Me'. Lewis gave the card to my mum, who cried... bless. Poor Ali - she's still with us but very, very poorly.
