The Paper Shelter DT Call and GIRLY Challenge

Hi guys,
It took me ages and is only my second attempt but I managed to colour this entire card solely in black, grey and white. And yes, I deliberately added a sepia colour background so that you guys wouldn't think that I had just changed the colour of the photograph to black and white. So NO, I didn't cheat!!

I love this image and think it's quite a girlie image in itself. I kept the embellishments simple and although I was a little scared in colouring this image solely in monochrome, I was actually quite pleased with the finished result.

Just so that you can see how I coloured the image previously, I am adding a small picture of the same image but in bright colours.

If you would like to be a part of Make it Crafty’s first ever design team and help your fellow crafters with a technique or two please send an email to:  crafts@makeitcrafty.com.au

Within the email, please include:

1. Your name and a link to your blog
2. Tell them about a technique that you are confident with and include a sample project using this technique.
3. Tell them about a technique you feel you are not so good at or are trying to learn
