Hi girls
The Tiddly Ink challenge is to make a SHAKER CARD using one of their fabulous images, so I chose this one.
I cut out the circle, for the shaker part, in the middle using my brand new circle cutter from We R Memory Keepers and then mounted acetate over the top of the circle on the inside. Then I added foam pads all around the edge of the circle, making sure that none of the pads could be seen from the outside of the card (that would just look tacky!!!) and then I added some little silver and red confetti hearts and some beads.
I coloured my TI image with Promarkers; Cardinal Red, Poppy, Ivory, Blush, Umber, Cocoa and Cinnamon. I also used a little Pastel Blue on the puddle but you can't really see that very clearly because the sentiment is positioned over the top. The sentiment is from Create with TLC and was a freebie.
I then mounted the picture on the inside over the top of the foam pads and stuck it tightly down with DSST so that it couldn't be removed (else all the bits and bobs would fall out...doh!) and finished it off with some red card candi from Craftwork Cards.
Hope you like my card.
If you have never made a Shaker Card before and would like to give it a go, pop over to the Tiddly Inks Blog as they have a really fabulous tutorial there. Thanks for stopping by.

Duck Egg Blue & Chocolate Challenge II
Hi girls
Thursday morning and slightly overcast, definitely not as sunny as yesterday was. Hopefully the sunshine will break through later???
Anyway, I had so much fun colouring in my Teddy Bo stamps yesterday for the 'Duck Egg Blue and Chocolate challenge yesterday that I made ANOTHER one!
I used Promarkers; Sky Blue, Umber, Tan, Sandstone, Blossom and Vanilla. The birthday greeting was from Craftwork Cards that I also coloured with my Sky Blue Promarker and layered onto a blue scalloped circle.
The gemstones (believe it or not) have been recycled. I had a jumper that was covered in them and the jumper is knackered now so I picked all of the gems off and have used only a small amount of them on my card here. I still have loads... great tip there, 'if it can't be given to charity or sold, pick the buttons, gems, lace etc off them before binning them'.
I must've picked off well over a hundred gems and I only bought the jumper from Primark in the first place. Bargain!
Anyway, I hope you like my card and thanks for stopping by

Duck Egg Blue & Chocolate Challenge
Hi girls (and fellow crafters)
Welcome back.
My new card is for The Teddy Bo Challenge 'Duck Egg Blue and Chocolate' (mmmmmmm chocolate), I enjoyed eating a whole bar of Cadbury's Fruit and Nut while I made this one.
I started with a background paper using the Blue and Chocolate colour scheme and then I cut some letters and a heart out of the same paper which I then mounted onto chocolate brown paper. I coloured the Teddy Bo image with Promarkers; Denim Blue (the nearest I could find to Duck Egg), Umber, Cinnamon and a touch of Pear Green on the stem of the rose.
I then cut around the image and mounted it with foam pads onto the DP and then added some blue ribbon. I then mounted the letters and the heart with foam pads too and added them over the ribbon. Hope you all like it?
Thanks for stopping by,
Hugs, Fae xxx

Coffee and Cream Combo
Hi girls (and fellow crafters)
Here's my offering for today. I am entering this card into the Passion for Promarkers challenge 'Coffee and Cream' colour combo. I am also entering him into the Teddy Bear Stampers challenge, which is also a colour combo using 'Brown, White and Pink. Well I have used the Blush colour on her dress and the heart so that is a very pale pink... hopefully it'll be acceptable???
I have used a new digi image (Teddy Bea 008) from Fairy Doodlers. Isn't she cute? I have seen a few of these bears around (during my blog surfing sessions) and loved them so much that I had to have one (okay...you got me... I got several... well I do get paid on the last Friday of the month WAHAYYYYY and that's next week!). Anyway, here's what I did:
I printed the bear and coloured her with the following promarkers ONLY: Senna, Umber, Cocoa, Cinammon, Blush and Ivory. The grey background was created using a black pencil and Sansodor. Well, I haven't used it for a while and I thought it was about time I did!
Then I scrolled around the edge of the white with my Cinnamon Promarker and added faux stitches using a 'normal' brown felt-tip (that was painful, how did I ever cope with 'normal' felts they seem to drag SOOOOOOOOO much and scratchy, don't even get me started on that!). Sorry, I am waffling again. Next I mounted some DP onto the white base card using some cream and gold embossed paper that I got from Craftwork Cards and added 5 Candi in coffee and cream colours (well I DO like my coffee the colour of GNATS ****, I'm a latte with a lotta latte kinda gal) and then added the sentiment that was also from the same collection at Craftwork Cards.
In fact, FYI, the paper, the candi, the sentiments and other things all came in a bumper pack from Craftwork Cards so pop over and check it out as they have some amazing offers on their bumper packs and it's very reasonably priced for all the stuff you get with it.
Hope you like the card? It's cold and wet here in Watford today, so doubt I'll be doing much else other than card marking, so prepare to see more of me. I'm sure that'll upset Steve enormously but hey, a girl's gotta do...what a girl's gotta do (ain't she?)
This card won The Teddy Bear Stampers blog challenge, AND got TOP FIVE at Passion for Promarkers and (because the original winner didn't come forward to claim her prize) it also WON! and I received a £10.00 voucher for Joanna Sheen. WAHHOOOOOOO!
Thanks for stopping by,

Op Date
Thanks for your lovely message Jen, but I haven't had my latest surgery yet.
For those of you who don't know, I am going into hospital for yet more surgery on the 3rd March 2011. So I may disappear off the radar for a while. I'll be wandering the corridors of St Albans Hospital, stealth-like in my lovely open back hospital gown (that I swear is made from old curtains) showing my wears off to half of Watford and then some.
But fear not... I will be colouring my little heart out with the little package of images I have been stamping and printing to while away the hours. Hopefully, I will in be in and out before you know it, and then I'll be back at home struggling to use my scalpel again like I was in July last year. Hopefully the recovery period won't be as long this time (fingers crossed), but we'll just have to wait and see.
Thanks for the lovely messages I have had so far though, and thanks again Jen, it means a lot to know I have friends and cyber-friends out there who are thinking of me. I'll let you know when I am back on my feet and my bum is safely covered up again... no peeking.
Bye for now,

Heidi
Finally, here is my last card for today (so far, there may be more later).
This digi stamp is called HEIDI and is from Victoria Case. I thought this would be perfect for Steve's friend, Mark, who is celebrating his 50th Birthday on the 16th February and the sentiment is just perfect for him too, well... it made me chuckle. I saw this somewhere but the sentiment had not been given proper credit so I did not know where it came from. However, the sentiment I saw was in USD and therefore not really applicable to the UK so... I made my own. If you were the creator of this sentiment, I give you my sincerest apologies for changing it to £'s without proper permission, but as I said, the card I had seen it on had not given credit to you and therefore I did not know if it was a freebie or a sentiment to purchase. Anyway, I hope he likes the card and Happy Birthday for Wednesday, Mark. Jammy toad is off to Las Vegas!!!
Thanks so much for taking some time out of your day to view my cards. Your visit is always a welcome one. Please feel free to comment if you like the card, or not. Your comment is always valued.
Hugs, Fae xxx
P.S. Happy Valentine's Day for tomorrow everyone young and old. Love never ages, it just gets better.

Fun with Coco
And my third AND FOURTH cards for today are...
For this card I used papers from the Pink Petticoat Vintage Rose collection. I coloured Coco with Flowers (from Digi Stamp Boutique) in promarkers; ice grey1, cool grey 3 and cool grey 5, blossom, forest green and pear green.
Job done. Really simple card but I really love it as it could be used for anything. Get well soon, happy birthday, congratulations, maybe even a mother's day card (if I don't get around to making a special one for mum... sorry mum, lots to do etc etc etc, but I will try... I promise!), at a push I could give it to one of the children to give to me since I always have to make MY OWN!!
My fourth card today is also using one of the coco bears from DSB and for this card I used the following promarkers:
Tan, Sandstone, Blossom, Ruby and Poppy Red, Grass and Pear Green. I added some white spots onto the ribbon with my trusty, (wouldn't-be-without-one) white Jelly Roll pen.
I mounted the image onto black cardstock which I punched the edges of with my heart MS border punch. In case you were wondering, I deliberately mounted the image too far over to the left so that only the top of those hearts were showing as I didn't want it to be TOO symmetrical as the red background paper had a black glitter border that was cut off on one side (as it is scrapbook paper). I added a black ribbon with red stitching to colour co-ordinate and a sentiment, 'if I give you my heart... can I have yours?' which I made myself on the PC and which I will add to my next post so that you can also use if you wish?
Hope you like the cards?

Shy
Hello girls
Here's my second card for today...
The image is from Maurie Manning at Digital Pencil too and is called 'Shy'. Isn't she adorable? I kept the colour scheme as pink, brown and gold (and used my infamous spotty background).
I coloured her with promarkers; blush, ivory, umber, henna, cocoa, cinnamon, ruby, cardinal red and ice grey 1. And for the bear; cocoa and cinnamon. Hope you like it?

Mice to see You
Hello girls (and fellow crafters)
So, the past week I have been really busy. I have my nan's birthday coming up, my sister-in-law, an eighteenth and TWO fiftieth birthdays!!
Here's one of my many cards I have made this week. Unfortunately, this is not one of the cards I needed for the list above, but I thought the image was really cute and wanted to make a card with it. The image is from Phindy's Stamps and is a digi. I coloured it with my promarkers, added an inked background around the image and then mounted it onto plain black card with a small border. The I mounted that onto glittered cardstock. Hope you like it?
Thanks for stopping by.

Red and Black Valentine
Hi girls (and fellow crafters)
So, Elaine at work, really liked my Pink and Black Valentine card that I made for my hubby Steve for Valentine's Day, so she asked me if I would make a similar one for her hubby Steve, also for Valentine's Day. So here is my card (for her), only this one is red and black (with a hint of white). Hope she likes it?
I used exactly the same spec as before only this time I used Coco with Heart from the Digi Stamp Boutique. She really liked these bears so I decided to use this image instead of a Penny Black one. I used promarkers: Umber, Cocoa, Cinnamon, Cardinal Red and Ruby.
I am entering this card into this week's Passion for Promarkers challenge 'Let there be love'. Hopefully they will like it? As their DT always offer us such fabulous inspiration. Pop on over and enter the challenge for yourself. It's great fun.
Hope you all like the card.
Thanks for stopping by.
