I received a Blog Award x

I received this award today from the lovely Debbie at www.debbiesinkysmudges.blogspot.com. Thanks a lot Debbie. You made my day!

This award, is aimed at bringing unknown good blogs to light and in accepting the award I have had to agree to the following conditions:
  1. You have been tagged, do you want to accept?  Yes, thanks again!
  2. Then create a post on your blog and post the love blog photo. Done, ta
  3. Link back to the person who gave you the award and say if you accept. I accept!
  4. Choose 3-5 of your favorite blogs to tag, link these in your post too and tell the lucky people they have been tagged.
As the aim of this award is to bring unknown good blogs to light, please don't tag somebody who already has a ton of followers.... Here is a list of my chosen three:-
  1. www.stampingforpleasure.blogspot.com (the lovely Sarn, who offers a wealth of inspiration in times of inspirational mojo and her Sunday Roast makes me chuckle)
  2. www.karen-makes-cards.blogspot.com (for her fabulous calendars)
  3. www.thelazymac.blogspot.com (for her wonderful ideas)
Pop on over and visit these blogs to see what they have received this award for and don't forget Debbie's blog at the top, who I thank once more for giving me the bog award in the first place.

Have a nice day ladies and well done ;o)

I've got a blog award

Hi fellow crafters, I've just returned from a short holiday in Norfolk and I am delighted because I had a look at my blog and Keryn has awarded me a blog 'cupcake' award, how lovely of her.

There are five rules to accepting this award:
  1. Thank the person who forwarded it to you. Thanks so much Keryn, I am chuffed to bits.
  2. Display the award on your blog.
  3. List 3 things about yourself
  4. Post a picture that you love
  5. Tag five people you would like to forward this onto.
Well the three things about myself and fairly obvious to most who have read my blog, and are as follows:
  • I love Stephenie Meyer for creating the Twilight series and for just bringing out a NEW book called The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, a vampire created by Victoria to defeat The Cullens in Eclipse, its a story about her perspective on her new life and how it feels to be a vampire etc etc, and because it's written by Stephenie, a brilliant read.
  • The second thing about myself is that I love to craft, particularly cards but other things too.
  • And finally, I am a twenty year old rock-chick trapped inside a thirty-somethings body.
The picture that I love, that always makes me smile is: Because it is a naturally created heart frame in the middle of a snow covered hedge. Makes me think of log fires and cuddling up on the sofa with a loved one. Whoooooah Fae, enough of the mushy stuff! Moving on...

and the five people I would like to forward this award onto are:

Lisa, Sarn, Peri, Julie and Cherie

Thanks for visiting and thanks again Keryn, for the lovely blog award. Very large head now...thanks.

The Karma Award

Oh my...how wonderful it was to log into my blog this morning and see that Mandy had awarded me with this lovely award.

It is really nice to receive this award as I only met Mandy about a month ago at the Glitter Pot and it was nice to share a crafting session with some old friends and make some new ones too. I hope that Mandy will keep in touch and maybe I will meet up with her again some time, if we ever get the opportunity to meet up again at the Glitter Pot. Anyway, as part of the rules of receiving this award, I now have the difficult task of choosing eight people to pass this award on to. The rules are as follows:

The Karma Award: These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind of bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers. Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award.

I would like to pass this award onto the following friends who are very talented crafters and just lovely people to boot:

Stamping Caz
Bev at All The Things I Love
Hollie (an 11 year old inspirational genius)
Sharon at Mad Stamper
Debbie at Crafting Fairy
Yvonne at Vonnie's Blogspot
Jen at My Stampin' Spot
Mel at The Creative World of Mellie Moo

I would of course have given the award to Sarn and Julie too, but Mandy had already given it to them and I wasn't sure if you could receive the award twice. The above people have received the award from me as their blogs are inspirational, creative and amazing all at the same time. I love looking at all of these blogs and taking inspiration from them. Thanks girls and keep up the good work.

WOW, I've Won an Award

OH MY GOD. I've just been checking out some of my favourite blogs and I noticed that my good friend Vonnie, www.checkvonnies.blogspot.com, has nominated me to receive this award. I am SOOOOOOO chuffed. Thanks hon.

I now have the hard task of nominating 5 people to receive this award from me. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to nominate people who have also been nominated by Vonnie, which is a shame as they're all so great. Saying that there are so many blogs I love to visit so choosing just 5 of them was really hard for me, but choose I must and I have selected the following 5 people as their blogs have inspired me and giving me lots of ideas when I have struggled to keep going in the past. Thanks girls.

  1. http://www.holliescorner.blogspot.com/ Hollie is 10 years old and I think her cards are absolutely amazing (and so does my 11-year-old daughter). She offers great, fresh and new ideas on colour and design. Keep up the good work Hollie, love your cards very much.

  2. http://www.papercraftsbyrach.blogspot.com/ Again, another blog I love to look at as the colour co-ordination and card themes are bright and inspiring. A lovely blog to look through on a dark, cloudy, dismal day, definitely one to make you smile.

  3. http://www.debbieeastmancardsimake.blogspot.com/ A great blog to visit for innovative ideas for gifts etc beside cards.

  4. http://www.kraftinkimmieskorner.blogspot.com/ Love this blog, she has fabulous cards and just offers great ideas for colour co-ordination and layouts. Another great blog to look through on less inspired days.

  5. http://www.allenjeni.blogspot.com/ For her colour schemes and inspiration. A fabulous blog, full of fabulous cards and ideas.

Keep up the good work girls. Love all of your work and many many more besides.

Lots of Love x
