Ice Cream Sundae

Here's the card I made for Passion for ProMarkers challenge. Hope you like it. I love this image from Whipper Snapper Designs and I coloured it using my Cinnamon, Ice Grey 1, Blossom and Green ProMarkers.

Sentiments are from a collection of clear stamps I have that no longer have their label with them so I am not sure who made them (perhaps Hero Arts?)

Kitty Kat Love

Lianne is off to a friends birthday party tonight and asked me to make her a card so I used my whipper snapper cat stamp which I water coloured. I mounted the whole thing onto lilac base card and mounted the image and numbers onto black card. I then cut a strip of lilac to match the base card and used my doily punch to cut along one edge, and then added a polka dot ribbon. The numbers came from Tesco. The base card was stamped with my large heart stamp and a lilac ink.

How much is that doggie...

I always enjoy colouring in these doggies... from Whipper Snapper Designs. I stamped the image twice so that I could make the tail and back legs on the top grey dog move so that it looks like the tail is wagging and the back legs are moving when you pulled the tabbed strip. I coloured in the image with my Copics and highlighted certain areas with a white pen (I don't know what I would do without my trusted white pencil).
This is a close up version so that you can see that the whole thing has been decoupaged. Once the whole thing had been mounted onto brown card I then used my white gel pen to go round the entire image with white faux stitching (I also added a little to the beige background paper) and then stamped 'Friends always' along the bottom.

Valentine Kitty's

I made this Valentine's Card for my boss who wanted something special and handmade for his beloved Jayne. Hope he likes it. He has also added a personal poem inside, but it's too personal for me to add to my blog, just in case she should happen to see it before Valentine's Day. Image is Whipper Snapper.

Hi everyone, I just love love love love love this card...don't you? It's just toooooo cute for words!

Everytime I use this image it just makes me smile, because they all look so uncomfortable yet sooooooo comfortable at the same time...does that sound weird? I think you KNOW what I'm trying to say?? Anyway, enough rambling Fae...shut up!

A Spoonful of Sugar

This is a card I made for the 'A Spoonful of Sugar' Challenge 13 Sketch. I know number 13 is generally an unlucky number but I am hoping that I will be lucky enough to win the 'Whiff of Joy' stamp that is on offer as blog candy.

Take a look at the 'A Spoonful of Sugar' blog to get the sketch design and see what you can come up with. I decided to follow a lilac, purple and silver theme. The stamp is from Whipper Snapper Designs as the ASoS team have agreed that you can now use any stamp designs on their challenges, which is all good.

Wish me luck and good luck to anyone entering the challenge who heard about it through my blog.

Autumn Leaves begin to Fall...

This was a card made for a Green and Brown challenge. I wasn't very pleased with my first attempt so I made another one. I'm much happier with this version, very Autumnal and very pretty I think.

The image is Whipper Snapper and the leaf in the background (PSX F-2781) is my most prized stamp possession, I really don't know what I'd do without it. Ribbon was from a collection of ribbons puchased at HobbyCraft.

Tropical Engagement

This card was made for friend's of a friend who have just got engaged. They love Ibiza so I drew a couple of palm trees and the caveman and woman decoupaged in front are by Whipper Snapper Designs. I printed the names and the date of the engagement directly onto the card and I then added some Jolee's Boutique Wedding Embellishments (the invitation, the bow, the rings and the present). Hope they like it?

Splashin' Good Fun

This cute little Whipper Snapper fella is just adorable. I added a small snippet of background paper and used the lovely bubbles stamp that Sarn kindly gave me with some Pearlescent Sky Blue BRILLIANCE Pigment Ink. Added some flowers and Zoomz, a message on a scalloped circle and some ribbon, together with some silver elasticated thread which I re-used from a christmas card. At first I thought it might be a bit crowded but it's grown on me and the proud new parents of a new baby boy should be receiving it shortly.

Hope you like it,
Fae xx

Dun Roamin'

Another Whipper Snapper, this one is great for new homes or travellers. Used the same background paper I bought from the Glitter Pot on the previous card and a scalloped circle with the 'hello' clear sentiment stamp from Hero Arts. Ribbon, flower and Zoomz to finish.

The Grass is Greener...

This Whipper Snapper stamp is a well worn favourite of mine, as I use fim for many different cards. On this occasion I used him for a birthay card for a friend who's mad about green. The background paper was a purchase from the Glitter Pot and the circle sentiment is by Craftwork Cards (also purchased from the Glitter Pot), they're fab as the pack contains four sheets, 2 x silver and 2 x gold of all these fab greetings and sentiments. Hope you like it?

This lovely monkey stamp is from http://www.whippersnapperdesigns.com/ isn't he gorgeous!!! As you can see, I have decoupaged the image three times so that he is 3D and looks like he's hanging on the branch. Coloured with blendable pencils and a vert feint blue has been watercoloured in the background. The stick-on words were a gift from Adopted Step-Mummy Julie (thanks 'mum') which were originally white but I coloured with permanent pen, in black.

Doggy Pile

A Whipper Snapper stamp. Aren't they cute???
I purchased this stamp at Alexander Palace with Sarn and have used it almost to death ever since. I love it so much. It's perfect for so many different occasions. I love colouring in this stamp too, this one wasn't watercoloured but looks equally as good when water is added. The background paper is from www.basicgrey.com and looks fab as a background for this image. Embellishment as before, a recent purchase from HobbyCraft

Elliepants!

It's that elephant again by Whipper Snapper. Loved the other card so much I just had to make another one. This one is for Grace's birthday (I know you look at my blog Cherrylynn, so don't let Gracie see). Stamped and watercoloured the image onto white cardstock, added pink cardstock and the daisy letters, called 'Li'l Charms' from American Traditional Designs. Added some pink polkadot ribbon and some silver adhesive strips and then added a scalloped greeting with a big silver '2'.

Unfrogettable

Another great Whipper Snapper stamp. I watercoloured and decoupaged the frog and added the lovely Woodware 'Birthday' greetings and added some water droplets with my clear Sakura Jelly Roll pen and a green papermania flower.

Hefferlumps...

Love this card...love this card...love this card! I've just finished making it and I can't help but smile when I see it. Elephant is by Whipper Snapper Designs and it's just gorgeous, I didn't think I would ever like any other elephant stamp as much since the one and only Penny Black one, but this is just too cute! The gray cardstock the watercoloured image has been mounted to has a leather effect, like an elephant's skin and therefore looks much better in real life but I really do like it so much. The whole thing was then mounted onto baby pink cardstock and a pink polka dot ribbon attached down the left. Lined a black dashed line around the outside of the gray and added a scalloped greeting with 'Kisses' (from a 'Hugs & Kisses stamp by Hero Arts - masked the Hugs & bit off) and some pink lips (from Hampton Art).

A little birdie told me...

This is a card I made for another 18 year old...so many! I love this Whipper Snapper image so much i decided to use him again. Coloured in pretty much the same way as before, watercolour pencils (without any water) added some wrapping paper in the background and three papermania flowers. Used the new stamps that Sarn was kind enough to get for me for the 'Happy Birthday' wording (they're part of a set from Woodware). Handwrote the 18 on the top right and bottom left of the card as I've run out of 1's on my Anita's sticker sheet! I feel another trip to the local Craft Store coming on... ooooerr! That could be trouble.

Close up...

Here's the close up I promised you. I particularly like the way I coloured and watercoloured the tree. A blue haze has also been added all the way around the house and tree itself. I'm really pleased with the way it looks. I also added an adhesive pearl on the door to give a little bit of dimension. Loving this image loads.
