I have made this card for the Simply Betty Stamps 'Emo Halloweenie Blog Hop'. All you have to do is leave a comment on each and every blog included in the Hop and then make a halloween card (using one of the Simply Betty Stamps, but you're not allowed to use one of their Hallowe'en stamps).
The cutesy the better and then colour it hallowe'enie style, hence the GREEN face. There are some fantastic new digi stamps up for grabs so good luck, if you take part, and 'happy hopping'. The DT have some fantastic halloew'en style cards on display which should give you some brilliant inspiration.
But, anyway, this is my offering (although it's nowhere near their standards).
I used 'Betty1' digi stamp and coloured her with ProMarkers: Blossom, Rose Pink, Grass, Forest Green, Lime Green and Black. I then mounted her onto Black Mirri card and used the Martha Stewart stars border punch. I then mounted that onto Black adhesive glitter, then mounted onto white and then again onto black cardstock (leaving small borders each time). I then cut some of the 'Madly in Love' stack DP and used the MS Doily Punch along the bottom which I then added some black sparkly ribbon to and then mounted the whole thing onto black mirri card basecard. I finished it off with a black greeting (from my stash) and added some white highlights. Phew!!!

This is fab and just love how you do little coloured dotting round the image - I 'borrowed' this for my Tiddly inks schoolgirl card and it looked really effective. I did say i'd seen it somewhere else but couldn't remember where (its the bloody meds i'm on LOL)... anyway, when I do it again, and i'm sure i will - i'll credit it to you as where I saw it first...

Please don't worry about it Paula, all of my cards on here are to offer other crafters, of all abilities, inspiration and advice where needed.
I have been using that technique since secondary school. My art teacher called it a dotting effect but I'm pretty sure that some famous artist (can't remember who...sorry) used the technique to paint entire landscapes with. Must've taken hours, but I always remember been totally awed by it. Now I use it wherever I think it's needed. Glad you like it and you're welcome to use it if it inspired you. I'll pop over to your blog sometime and have a look at the card you used it on.
