As apposed to "Does my bum look big in this?"
Hi girls
What happened to the sun???
Thought I would do another, slightly darker card again and I love this little goth girl by Christy Croll at Tiddly Inks. Rather than do the usual black, red and pink, I thought I would go for lilacs, greens and black for a change and I think it works rather well together. This is another of the fabulous sheets I bought yesterday (still Shhhh, I think I got away with it! But only because I hid them all after spending most of the afternoon 'stroking' them all) and it broke my heart having to cut this one up, but I still have another sheet....hmmmm [grinning like a Cheshire cat].] ;o)
Anyway, this is using the same TI image as before but with the new colours. I'm afraid I used so many colours that I cannot remember them all but I think the main ones were: Ivory, Blush, Lime Green, Soft Green, Yellow, Pastel Yellow, Ice Grey 1, Cool Grey 3, Bluebell, Amethyst and Lilac (and of course, my trusty white highlighter).
The background paper is embossed and covered in glitter, which is what makes it so gorgusssssss and I cut out two of the little hearts from the leftover scrap (ugh... what a horrible word to use for something so beautiful), I meant to say from the little remaining paper that I couldn't possibly have used elsewhere, there...that's better, and mounted them with foam pads along the edge of the image. I mounted the image onto the black mirri card as before and this time used by scalloped dotty MS punch along the bottom edge and added two purple ribbons. I then just simply used dots to create a backdrop for her using the colours I had used on the main image. Et voila! A birthday card suitable for any teenager going through her early menopause (much like Lianne is now...ha ha ha!)
Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.
Hugs, Fae xxx

gorgeous
Again, super colouring in. I love the colours you chose too. WRT the design papers... i couldn't possibly cut something up so beautiful so i go for CD's where I can print to my hearts delight...
love your esxplanation for scraps - and have to agree with you, its a bit of a negative word for using smaller pieces of the paper.
