12th Birthday Eve

This is my beautiful daughter - she is going to turn TWELVE tomorrow! Here she is with her beloved pet rat (and birthday present) SOXY!

I took this photograph this morning shortly after Lianne got out of her pit and the first thing she did was get "Soxy" out for a quick cuddle.

Lewis...

Took Lewis to the doctors today, he has gastroenteritis and a possible grumbling appendix. The doctor said that the gastro should clear up in a day or two if I starve him (which is no easy task with a boy that has a man's appetite)!

He said I'll have to keep an eye on the stomach pains because if they get any worse or Lewis starts getting too distressed I'll have to take him back to the doctors for another assessment. I hope my little man will get better soon, he looks so 'gray' and his eyes are quite dark and bloodshot!

Anyway, I just thought I'd let you know how he was getting on.

A Rare Moment...

Lianne and Lewis shared a 'special moment' today and I had to capture it on camera (oh how I love my digital camera!!!) and put it on my blog so that you could share it with me.

It doesn't happen very often, but they love each other really, even though they pretend they don't.

I can't imagine my life being so full without them, I love them to bits. They both test my patience to the absolute limit but then give so much love back in return to make up for it.
