Here's Bella and Bronte again, this time coloured in a completely red theme. Again, the card is for Sarah's nineteenth birthday, but this one has COUSIN on it as Lianne and Lewis wanted to give this card to Sarah.
I decoupaged Bronte and Bella's arm, body and head and her boot. I added some red ribbon for texture and highlighted certain parts of the background paper by adding glitter.
I think Bella looks good in red and I just love Bronte as s/he reminds me of my dog Ali. Although we rescued her from a dog rescue centre just a few months ago, after she had already been there for twelve months. It turns out that we will only have her for a short period of time as she has a tumour growing in her stomach. She stopped eating for a while and got very, very skinny so we took her to the vet, who gave her a steroid to help her gain her appetite back. Unfortunately, now that she is eating, and eating well, she is also feeding her tumour, which has grown considerably in the past week or two, which means that her time here with us is borrowed and therefore, we won't have her for very much longer. Which is sad, but I am grateful that she is with us, with a loving family, surrounded by people who love her, instead of her dying in the kennel that she had called home for twelve months. Although she was well cared for there by the workers and the volunteers, I still wouldn't swap the past six months for anything. We love you Ali xxx
Sending Hugs. I really like this card and this image from Mo is just lovely. I handwrote the lettering at the bottom of the card as I wanted something special along the bottom and had nothing in my stamps that was a) large enough or b) appropriate. Thanks Mo x

Soaking up the Joy again. A different version this time without the grass. It didn't look right with this background that I created so I coloured another one. The background was made with my clear Hero Arts flowers and a bit of black and metallic purple ink. I think it looks great with the image mounted onto black mirri card and the pink gemstones. I wasn't going to but I added a circle birthday greeting just to finish it off.
The full version of the card in all its glory. I was really pleased with this as it was a very simple sketch but the card came out really well. And although I have made my own backgrounds before and they have never turned out very well, I am pleased that it did this time and I like it.
This is another digital image from Mo's Digital Pencil - this one called, Soaking Up the Joy. Bella with her dolly in a beautiful grassy spot surrounded by flowers. I did the grass myself as this is not part of the stamp, but it seemed that that was where she ought to be standing. 
A close up of Bella. As you can see, I glittered her skirt and added white spots to her top, shoes and hair ribbon.
This is the 'Making Cards' digital stamp again, but with black mirri card behind the image. Mainly pink and browns this time rather than lilac. A really simple but effective card. Again, I love these images.
This is Bella and Bronte. A digital stamp (my first one) that I recently purchased from Mo's Digital Pencil. Great isn't it? I love the fact that I can resize it to any size I want and love colouring in these images. This is the first one I bought and I just can't get enough of them. I've printed off quite a few and me and the children have been having a great time. This one was coloured in by me though (in Bella's favourite colours - apparently she loves purple). And I just love Bronte, mainly because he reminds me of our dog Ali.
