I have some sad news... my neighbour, John, was sadly found passed away on Friday afternoon (they think he may have died on Thursday morning). He lived alone since his wife died, six or seven years ago (I can't be sure exactly) but he has missed her everyday since her passing.He met her when they were teenagers (childhood sweethearts) and when he came back from his services in the war, he married her and they truly were together until her death parted them.
He was a lovely man, very lonely and chatty and although it wasn't always convenient to stop and chat, all of the neighbours found time for him. I sincerely hope that his wife was waiting for him and that they are now reunited... painfree and happy. Rest in Peace John, you will never be forgotton.
