Well... what can I say... I can't BELIEVE it's been so long since my last blog. So much has happened, is happening, that I barely have time to catch breath.
I'm off to AUSTRALIA on the 8th June, less than a week away, to see my gorgeous new rellies down under. I can't believe that it's so close, it was more than a year ago that we booked it. It's a journey that just myself and my dad are taking. Lianne has her A Level exams coming up (literally the day after I fly out), Lewis has school to contend with, Mum is looking after the kids and Ruby-Doo and I very much doubt that Steve would want to go with me, even if I asked him... MISERABLE BUGGER!!
Anyway, I thought I would share a few of my creations with you that have kept me busy over the past few weeks and let you all know that I was still alive and well.

Very girlie but very CAS too. I added the sparkly '5th' which was purchased from Hobbycraft. The pink adhesive pearls were from Mei Flowers and the greeting is one that I typed up and punched out myself.
Coloured with copics and finished off with prismacolour pencils and blended with Sansodor.

Another FIVE birthday card. The image has no background, I drew that in myself as the sentiment on the inside says "I love you to the moon and back. I added the adhesive gems, as stars, to the image once I had created the night sky behind the moon with Adirondak ink and a foam blender.
I then added the sentiment, the letters and the flowers to finish off the card. This card was coloured with Promarker Pens and I was really pleased with the finished card.

I will post some pictures of my trip when I return from Loveday, Barmera in July. Hope the weather stays warm for you guys here, apparently the UK is about to have a heatwave and I'M GOING TO MISS IT - just to make you feel better, it's winter in Australia now.
